Tobba’s founder Jasper Li views perfume as a work of art & a way of expression. Having transformed abstract ideas into symbols & compositions in his paintings, the artist-perfumer is then influenced by the statement “Art is not bounded by one dimension”, which drastically changed the course of his artistic journey & which continues to drive him to experiment with different mediums. Scent being one of them, turns out to be the perfect canvas for him. Jasper translates the visual into the olfactory, utilizing a wide variety of ingredients to build layers, add depth & create textures while evoking heart-warming memories that form the foundation of the audience’s interpretation & which render the fragrances timeless and limit-defying.
